Smoke-free/ Tobacco-free Awards

Nominations are invited from Panchayats, municipal bodies and educational institutions to recognize outstanding leadership and excellence in promoting effective smoke-free/tobacco-free policies and encourage future action to advance smoke-free environments, in Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. Categories for the awards include:

  1. Panchayats, Municipal Corporations, and
  2. Educational Institutions

Two awards from category-1 will be given a prize money of Rs. 25000/- and Rs. 15000/-. Two awards from category-2 will be given a prize money of Rs. 15000/- and Rs. 10000/-.

The nominations can be sent by the concerned Panchayats, municipal bodies and educational institutions or by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioners or concerned departments at the state level to the following addresses either through emails or hard copies by post:
