These Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) apply to the Public Health Foundation of India’s Centre for Tobacco Control and Health Promotion (here after called as “PHFI-CTCHP” unless expressed explicitly) web site. Please review these Terms of Use carefully before using this Web site. Use of this Web site, www.ctchp.org and all pages in this domain (together, the "PHFI-CTCHP Web Site"), constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions. PHFI-CTCHP reserves the right to seek all remedies available by law for any violation of these terms of use, including any violation of PHFI-CTCHP's rights in the PHFI-CTCHP’s name and logo and its rights in connection with the information, artwork, text, video, audio, or pictures (together, the "Content") of the PHFI-CTCHP Web Site.
PHFI-CTCHP reserves the right to deny service to any person if PHFI-CTCHP determines that such person has violated these Terms of Use, or for any reason poses a threat to the smooth functioning of this Web site for the benefit of the Public Health Foundation of India and its community.

The PHFI-CTCHP name and logo are the exclusive property of PHFI-CTCHP. They are protected under the prevalent law. Unauthorized use is prohibited. The PHFI-CTCHP Web Site is provided by PHFI-CTCHP for personal use and non commercial use. It is meant for public good and to be used in good faith only. 6. Working Papers/Documents
The PHFI-CTCHP Web Site may contain Working Papers, documents or discussion drafts of PHFI-CTCHP Policy Papers. Comments and responses are welcome, but these should in all cases be addressed directly to PHFI-CTCHP and not uploaded to the PHFI-CTCHP Web Site. These documents are provided by PHFI-CTCHP as a contribution to discussion on important issues affecting issues affecting PHFI-CTCHP, and to assist PHFI-CTCHP by broadening and deepening the range of the consultations engaged in by the PHFI-CTCHP. Such documents do not represent the PHFI-CTCHP’s definitive position on the issues covered and are not to be represented as such. Working papers may not be quoted or otherwise used outside the PHFI-CTCHP Web Site.
7. Interactive Parts of the PHFI-CTCHP Web Site
The PHFI-CTCHP Web Site may contain bulletin boards, access to mailing lists or other message or communication facilities. PHFI-CTCHP reserves the absolute right to delete any material posted to the PHFI-CTCHP Web Site without notice to the user.
8. Monitoring
Public Health Foundation of India shall have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the content of the Web site to determine compliance with these Terms of Use and any other operating rules that may be established by us from time to time. Public Health Foundation of India shall have the right in its sole discretion to edit, refuse to post or remove any material submitted to or posted on the Web site. Without limiting the foregoing, we shall have the right, but not the obligation, to remove any material that we, in our sole discretion, find to be in violation of the provisions hereof, otherwise objectionable or stale. Notwithstanding this right of ours, users shall remain solely responsible for the content of their messages. You acknowledge and agree that neither us nor any of our affiliates shall assume or have any liability for any action or inaction by us with respect to any conduct within the Web site or any communication or posting on the Web site.

Your privacy on the Internet is of utmost importance to the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI-CTCHP). This privacy statement describes PHFI-CTCHP’s policy concerning the gathering and sharing of visitors’ information through the PHFI-CTCHP web site.
9.1 Normal website usage
In general, you can browse the PHFI-CTCHP Web site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself.
9.2 Collection of personally identifiable information
If you register for a newsletter, request information, provide feedback, apply for a job, join a discussion group or join an electronic mailing list, you will be asked to provide personal information such as your name, postal address and e-mail address. This information is collected only with your knowledge and permission, and is kept in a database.
9.3 Personally identifiable information
PHFI-CTCHP may use the personal information you provide to:
1) Contact you – either in response to a query or suggestion, or to mail newsletters, documents, publications, etc. to you.

4) Help you quickly find information that is relevant to you based on your interests, and help us create site contents most relevant to you;

9.4 What if I don’t want to provide personal information?
Providing personal information on the PHFI-CTCHP web site is optional. If you choose not to provide personal information, you can still browse and use the PHFI-CTCHP Website, but you will not be able to carry out certain actions such as registering for a newsletter, or applying for a job.
